On April 15, the closing day of the Artdofest/Asia festival, the results of the ArtdocNet competition were announced in Almaty. 21 films took part in the competition, all works are available on the Internet.
International jury consisting of:
- Svetlana Rodina, documentary filmmaker
- Maria Makeeva, editor-in-chief of the OstZapad TV channel
- Tanya Kisilevsky, General Producer and Chief Director of RTVi TV channel
awarded:
Main prize: “Mariupol. Reconstruction", dir. Svetlana Lishchinskaya
Best Director Award: Director Dmitry Kubasov, film "Witness"
Special prize: "Father and Son", project "Signs of Life" ("for the fact that the authors showed us a man who finally realized what his country, Russia, had done")
Diploma of the jury: “Famine”, authors Alexander Arkhangelsky, Maxim Kournikov, Tatyana Sorokina (“for the fact that, by exploring the topic of a hundred years ago, the authors help to understand today's world and Russia”)
Also, a public vote was held in social networks, as a result of which the audience prize was awarded to the film “Famine”, the authors Alexander Arkhangelsky, Maxim Kournikov, Tatyana Sorokina.
