Alisa Ganieva — is an author of fiction and essays. She’s a winner of Debut Prize, a major literary award for young writers. Her novels The Mountain And The Wall (Праздничная гора, AST, 2012), Bride and Groom (Жених и невеста, AST, 2015) and Offended Sensibilities (Оскорбленные чувства, AST, 2018) – have been short-listed for some well-known national literary awards: the Yury Kazakov Prize (for the best short story of the year), the Belkin Prize (for the best long story of the year), the Yasnaya Polyana literary prize (in 2013) and the Russian Booker Prize (for the best novel of the year). They were also translated into several languages and have garnered warm feedback in many countries from critics, scholars, and public alike.
Dmitri Vrubel — Russian artist living in Berlin, who calls himself "a political painter". He became famous as an author of the world-known graffiti piece "The Fraternal kiss" on the Berlin Wall which depicts kissing Leonid Brezhnev and Erich Honecker. He never paints from life and mostly uses photos. He has organized many exhibitions including a gallery in his own apartment and a "Gospel project", which describes Biblical scenes through the modern characters. His works are reposited in the collections of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Berlin National Gallery and private collections in Poland, Germany, Italy and other countries.
Filip Remunda — Filip Remunda is a Czech director and producer. In 2005, he graduated from FAMU’s Department of Documentary Film in the class of Karel Vachek. During his studies he attended the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem. He lectured at the Flaherty Documentary Seminar in the USA. He co-founded the Institute of Documentary Film (IDF) and is actively involved in lecturing at the Ex Oriente Film, an international documentary development workshop organized by IDF. He runs the independent production company Hypermarket Film. His most recent works include a Steam on the River a documentary piece about a world renowned jazz musician Laco Deczi or a documentary The Okamura Brothers about a family of Czech Japanese brothers standing on 3 different sides of politics and history.
