Artdocfest Open
Yuliya Aug — a theatre and film actress and director, as well as a screenwriter and music video director. She is known for her work in theatre (including the Gogol Center) and in cinema, as well as for her active civic stance. Of Estonian origin, she studied at LGITMiK and GITIS and is a graduate of the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors. She currently lives in Estonia.
Boris Zimin — an entrepreneur and philanthropist, head of the Zimin Foundation, and the son of Dmitry Zimin, founder of VimpelCom. He is widely known for supporting the political opposition and independent media in Russia. Zimin has lived abroad since 2004 (in the United States and Israel). In 2022, he was designated a “foreign agent” by the Russian authorities.
Vadim Radionov — a Latvian journalist, author, and host of the popular socio-political YouTube channel “And Graham Struck” («И грянул Грэм»). He has collaborated with both Latvian and Russian media outlets, including "Snob" and "Echo of Moscow".
Baltic Focus
Daira Abolina — a film critic and the artistic director and curator of the cinema “Splendid Palace.” A member of the Latvian Filmmakers Union. An editor, author, and film program journalist at Latvian Television. Since 1985, she has been regularly publishing in major Latvian newspapers and magazines.
Jean Perret — a French-Swiss curator, producer, and educator, a key figure in international documentary cinema. Former director of the documentary film festival Visions du Réel (1995–2010), which he developed into one of the world’s leading platforms for creative documentary. He has taught and lectured internationally on cinéma du réel, aesthetics, and society, and headed the film department at HEAD – Geneva University of Art and Design. Lives in Geneva.
Edvinas Pukšta — a Lithuanian film journalist, critic, and festival programmer. He has been a curator at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival (PÖFF) since 2018 and, since summer 2023, the head of the programme of the Tartuff Festival in Tartu. Previously, he was the lead programmer of the Vilnius International Film Festival Kino Pavasaris for 15 years. Pukšta is a member of the selection committee of the European Film Academy (European Film Awards) and regularly serves on juries at major international film festivals, including Cannes, Berlin, and Busan.
