The film is based on a little-known story that happened in 1972. Then, in the Ili River, a ferry carrying fifteen pupils of the boarding school sank. Three drowned. But twelve were saved thanks to a young state farm driver, Bisetai Daurenbekov. This film is about rescued children. More precisely, already adults. How their destinies turned out.
