The Artdocfest/Riga Warm-Up Days, held from December 3 to 5 at the Splendid Palace cinema, concluded with the heartfelt film "Taurins Senior" by Alexander Khan.
Special film screenings occurred three months before the main festival, scheduled for March 1 to March 8, 2024. The program featured three films not previously shown in Latvia, addressing current global issues and the everyday challenges we all face.
Among the selected films were "Motherland or Death" (2011) by Latvian documentarian Vitaly Mansky, who celebrated his 60th birthday in December, and "Rock. Paper. Scissors." by Anton Zhelnov and Anna Narinskaya.
The Warm-Up Days of the Artdocfest/Riga festival were made possible with the support of the Riga City Council.
