Despite the cancellation of the Artdofest/Asia festival by the authorities, the results of the ArtdocNet-2024 competition were announced in Tashkent. 21 films took part in the competition, all works are available on the Internet.
International jury consisting of:
- Victor Matizen (Russia), film critic
- Shahida Tulaganova (Great Britain), journalist, director, producer
- Vera Pavlova (Canada), poet
awarded:
Main prize: “Please Look Up", dir. Igor Makarov, Aleksandr Urzhanov
Best Director Award: Director Andrey Loshak, film "Pentagon"
Special prize: "Round dance. Apologizing Russia", dir. Filya Presnensky, Karina Oktyabrskaya
Diploma of the jury: “Milkmaid-foreign agent”, dir. Irina Shikhman, Nikita Loyk (“for the discovery of an unexpected protagonist”)
Also, a public vote was held in social networks, as a result of which the audience prize was awarded to the film “Reunion. A Diary”, dir. Anatoly Berdyugin.
P.S. Festival screenings in Tashkent were disrupted by the police at the request of the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, after which the festival screenings and the work of the Artdoc School took place under “special regime.”
