We announce the second festival competition program of the online program ArtdocNet-2020.
This program was created 7 years ago, and it consisted mainly of nonprofessional films and those that, for censorship reasons, couldn’t be shown on the big screen. The Internet became a promising way of distribution, with a large number of opportunities and a multimillion audience. Many films now are created for online display. The ArtdocNet program, which became a competitive program two years ago, turned into the second professional competition and the first online festival program in Russia. Most of the projects selected from more than 1000 applications are professional films, although the festival leaves room for experiments by young authors. All films in the program are available for viewing.
The program of 2020 includes 21 films, their fate is decided by a professional jury, and the audience award is given based on public votes on Facebook. In the jury are the writer Alisa Ganieva, the Czech director Philip Remunda and the Russian artist living in Berlin, Dmitry Vrubel. According to the regulations, the jury awards four prizes in the competition. The winners of the ArtdocNet contest will be announced in Moscow on December 10, at the closing ceremony of Artdocfest-2020. Read more about the jury here.
